Guest artist of the 2018 East Coast Land Arts Festival. During his stay he created three giant puppets, "The Elders of Katumayan", which people go inside of to control.
During his stay as part of the 2018 East Land Arts Festival, Umeda created a stone garden which captures water from the mountain and drips it below the stones into vessels creating an ever changing rhythm.
